UHPLC Control Program , by Matthew Monroe

This program was written to control the Dual Syringe Ultra High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC) system, designed by John MacNair and overhauled by Kamlesh Patel. The program controls the speed and direction of the motors that drive the pistons, opens and closes the air-actuated valves that control solvent flow, monitors pressure, and monitors the position of the pistons. If pressure limits are exceeded the program automatically shuts down the UHPLC system. The program also monitors the on-column laser induced fluorescence (LIF) signal and saves the data to disk. Custom gradient profiles can be entered, allowing any shape gradient to be produced.
